嘉宾简历:
Todd Radom is an independent graphic designer specializing in sports branding, book jacket design, and corporate identity. Todd's work includes the official logo for Super Bowl XXXVIII and the graphic identity for Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals and Anaheim Angels. Among the leading designers in the professional sports industry, his 13 years of work with the NFL, NBA, and Major League Baseball has resulted in some of the most familiar icons of our popular culture.

Todd is a 1986 graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City and is a member of the Board of the SVA Alumni Society.

Marcus Stephens graduated from Frostburg University, where he studied graphic design. After graduation, Marcus worked for an advertising agency and design firm before founding his own independent design group in 1999. After working briefly with Under Armour as a client, Marcus was quickly recruited and brought in-house for his innovative thinking and design talents, serving as creative director since 2000.

Marcus’ vision has been the driving force behind the launch of the popular “PROTECT THIS HOUSE” advertising campaign, the debut of a new logo in 2000, and consistent implementation of global creative initiatives. Marcus’ efforts in guiding the “PTH” campaign have garnered not just awards, but a grassroots buzz and enormous brand cache. The 30-second television spot, created in-house on a nominal budget, commanded teammates to “PROTECT THIS HOUSE!” and urged athletes, consumers and competitors to take notice of Under Armour as they prepared to take the industry by storm.

Professor Ed Gold, an alumnus of the Maryland Institute, College of Art, and winner of more than 400 awards for excellence in graphic design, is the Associate Director of the School of Communications Design at The University of Baltimore, director of the School’s Ampersand Institute for Words and Images, and director of the MFA in Integrated Design. For many years he has served as Creative Director at the Barton- Gillet Company, a nationally renowned communications and marketing firm, and he is the author of The Business of Graphic Design, cited by Critique magazine as one of the “greatest books on design ever written.” Ed teaches Theory of Visual Communication, Design-Business Link, and other advanced theoretical and applied design courses.
